Before i start to talk about the topic, i would like to create awareness water and marine contamination. Please review this article to get more information.

Let’s go back to our topic. I think you are looking for a solution to put your image into any specific area of an image. Then you are in “The Good Place :)”

Today, i am gonna show you how to put your website screenshot into Macbook Pro screen. Follow me;

  1. Open your browser and enter the website adress whatever you want.
  2. Take a screenshot. (on Mac “cmd + shift + 3”, on Windows “windows key + print screen key”)
  3. Open Adobe Photoshop (in this case 2020 version i will use). Click open button and choose Macbook photo and the screenshot.

this is the Macbook image which i will use

4. As you see, my Macbook screen is not flat. This is a little bit hard ha? Don’t worry it is so easy. Let’s continue…

5. Choose the third icon on the left bar. If you don’t see the icon as below, please right click on the third icon and choose “Polygonal Lasso Tool”.

Polygonal Lasso Tool

6. Then select the area which you would like to put your screenshot into. You will see something like below;

Selected area

7. Now copy (ctrl + c or cmd + c) the screenshot which you have already opened in photoshop.

8. Come back to Macbook image, and go to “Edit => Paste Special => Paste Into”. Now you see your screenshot in the selected area but it is not like you want.

Paste into selected area without any touch

9. Let’s try to make it as we want. Press “ctrl + t or cmd + t”. Then right click and choose “scale”. Make it narrow.

Make it narrow

10. Hmmmm not exactly what i want. Then right click again and choose “distort” and pull from right and left side to make your screenshot widen.

Distorted image

11. Noooooo, this is not what i want. Then make the last touch. Right click again and choose “Perspective”. Move from the left or right top corner to forward.

Final Image

Yess, our image is ready. Then you can save your image from “File => Save As => Save” in the format whatever you want.

I hope it will be useful for you. If you have an advice, i will be happy to hear from you.

Good Luck and be aware of water pollution.
